Dual study program at ROMA

In cooperation with the Cooperative State University in Heidenheim (DHBW), we offer a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in IT. We do not offer both DHBW courses every year. In cooperation with the International University (IU), we also offer a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management. You can choose between Ulm and Augsburg as the IU's place of study.

How does the application process work at ROMA?

For a proper application to ROMA, we need your last school report and your CV. Once we have received your application, we will take a look at it and coordinate with the relevant departments.

If we like your application, we will invite you to a personal interview. The personal interview will last approx. 30 minutes. We want to get to know you personally and gain a first impression.

If it suits both sides, we will invite you to a taster day, where you will get to know the working environment and future colleagues. In a final interview, we can clarify any open questions. Then welcome to the ROMA family!

Where and when do I go to university?

Your time at university for the dual study program depends on the course of study. Students at the DHBW have a Baden-Württemberg model with 3 months in the company and 3 months at the university alternately. Students at the IU have a split week model, for example Monday and Tuesday at university and Wednesday to Friday at the company.

How long does the dual study program last and how much do you earn?

The standard period of study usually lasts 6 or 7 semesters.

You will receive over 1,000 euros per month in the first two semesters.

What else does ROMA offer?

ROMA pays the full tuition fees for your studies, including administrative costs and semester fees.

At our many cool events and regular meetings, you have the opportunity to exchange ideas with other ROMA students.
