EPD Environmental Product Declaration from ROMA for maximum transparency

Sustainability needs facts. That's why ROMA has created comprehensive environmental product declarations (EPD) for its Roller Shutters, external venetian blinds and vertical awnings systems. These have been tested and certified by the renowned Institut Bauen und Umwelt e. V. (IBU). ROMA was the first manufacturer in the world to receive EPDs for complete sun shading systems - a milestone in terms of product transparency.

Systematic summer heat insulation - without air conditioning

A well-planned exterior sunshade significantly reduces heat gain through windows—and ensures that rooms stay pleasantly cool even on hot days. With ROMA products , heat gain can be stopped right at the facade— without the need for energy-intensive air conditioners.

There is also a solar-powered system for Roller Shutters: It uses sunlight to control the sun protection and operates independently of the power grid.
