The integrated glass fall protection system combines maximum safety with stylish design, including edge protection in a matching color. It offers the following advantages:

• Extremely easy planning, measurement, and ordering—all handled together with the sunshade

• Simple installation together with the sun protection system, directly onto the window frame

• Perfect appearance thanks to discreet integration into the guides of the sun protection product (no additional components required; mounting holes are concealed)

• Minimum panel width: 500 mm, maximum panel width: 2700 mm

• Depending on the system, the box is spaced 10 or 30 mm from the mounting surface

• Additional system-specific restrictions or requirements—e.g., regarding the window frame—may apply

ROMA offers new possibilities for integrated fall protection with aluminum lattice elements. The holder for the grille is also integrated into the guide rail of the sun shading system.

• Powder-coated aluminum grille

• Simple detection and installation - identical to glass fall protection

• Simple integration: the grille element is swivelled into the guide rails and fixed in place with rubber piping

• Three standard grille heights: 925 mm, 1025 mm, 1125 mm; other individual grille heights between 500 and 1200 mm possible

• Minimum grille width: specified depending on the system, maximum grille width: 1,970 mm

• Variable grid bar spacing, up to max. 120 mm

• Partial fall protection with mesh element also possible

ROMA offers new options for integrated fall protection using powder-coated aluminum sheet. The mounting bracket for the sheet is also integrated into the guide rail of the sun protection system. Ten different designs are available.

Control your Roller Shutters as intuitively as your lighting - with elegant wall switches or the handy ROMA radio control. The bidirectional touch display control Nina Timer io and the Chronis io radio timer enable automated operation. It gets even smarter with the TaHoma app, Loxone or Somfy Smart Home: control and program your sun shading conveniently via smartphone or tablet - even when you're on the move.

Motorized Roller Shutters offer convenience, but they cannot be operated without electricity. With a battery backup , they remain operational even during a power outage—for up to ten operating cycles within 24 hours. As soon as power is restored, the battery recharges automatically. This ensures that light and security are maintained at all times.

Alternatively, you can choose a motor with an emergency hand crank. This allows you to operate the Roller Shutters manually using the emergency hand crank in case of an emergency or power outage.
