ROMA PURO 2.XR-RS: Top-Mounted External Venetian Blinds

The integrated insect screen from ROMA is integrated in the box and offers the following advantages:

• Can be raised if required (e.g. window cleaning) and is optimally protected from the weather in the box

When the blinds are lowered, the lower part of the daylight technology remains closed for privacy and sun protection, while the upper part lets in light and brightness through swiveled slats.

• Lower section turns later (by shortening the track)

• Individual division of the turning height possible on request

• Daylight technology not possible with CDL and ZL

The integrated glass fall protection system combines maximum safety with stylish design, including edge protection in a matching color. It offers the following advantages:

• Minimum panel width: 500 mm

• The mounting surface of the box is offset outward by 10 mm

• Additional system-related restrictions or requirements—e.g., regarding the window frame—may apply

ROMA offers new options for integrated fall protection using aluminum mesh panels. The mounting bracket for the mesh is also integrated into the guide rail of the sunshade system.

• Easy installation and mounting—identical to the glass fall protection system

• Easy integration: The grille element is swiveled into the guide rails and secured with rubber edging

ROMA offers new options for integrated fall protection using powder-coated aluminum sheet. The mounting bracket for the sheet is also integrated into the guide rail of the sun protection system. Ten different designs are available.

Automated External Venetian Blinds offer even more advantages: The wind monitor protects the blind from storm damage by raising it in good time if the wind is too strong - ensuring that you can enjoy your External Venetian Blinds for a long time.

Lowering the blinds with the slats open prevents the room from becoming dark and positions the slats in a sun-shading position right from the start.

• Lowering in the cut-off position (approx. 40°)

• The blind raises with the slats in their typical position.

• By issuing an UP command followed by a DOWN command, the slats can be closed completely.

• In the “Working Position” version, the minimum element width increases by 50 mm due to an additional gearbox on the reversing unit.

Motor-driven External Venetian Blinds are convenient, but immovable without a power supply! But nobody wants to be trapped in a darkened room in the event of a power failure. With the help of the battery backup for External Venetian Blinds, ten movement cycles are possible within 24 hours, even without mains power, and the battery is automatically recharged when the power returns.

Open in just a few seconds with the quick retraction function (even in the event of a power failure): With the battery-powered rapid retraction system, External Venetian Blinds (e.g. by operating the emergency switch) move upwards in a flash in dangerous situations.

Manual emergency operation for External Venetian Blinds: With Lift&go and Push&go, the end slats can be pushed up by hand in an emergency. This immediately creates a clear escape route - with little effort.

Simple planning thanks to uniform unit heights for more window area and light; up to 2600 mm with external venetian blind profile GL 85 can be integrated into the small box heights
