When the blinds are lowered, the lower part of the daylight technology remains closed for privacy and sun protection, while the upper part lets in light and brightness through swiveled slats.

The integrated glass fall protection system combines maximum safety with stylish design, including edge protection in a matching color. It offers the following benefits:

• Extremely simple planning, measurement, and ordering—done through and in conjunction with the sunshade

• Simple installation together with the sunshade, directly onto the window frame

• Solution available in combination with an integrated insect screen (only .XP)

• Perfect appearance thanks to discreet integration into the sunshade’s guide rails (no additional components required; mounting holes are concealed)

• Minimum panel width: 500 mm

• Maximum element width: 2700 mm

• Depending on the system, the box is spaced 10 or 30 mm from the mounting surface

• Additional system-specific restrictions or requirements—e.g., regarding the window frame—may apply

ROMA offers new possibilities for integrated fall protection with aluminum lattice elements. The holder for the grille is also integrated into the guide rail of the sun shading system.

• Simple integration: the grille element is swivelled into the guide rails and fixed in place with rubber piping

ROMA offers new options for integrated fall protection using powder-coated aluminum sheet. The mounting bracket for the sheet is also integrated into the guide rail of the sun protection system. Ten different designs are available.

Control your External Venetian Blinds as intuitively as your lighting - with elegant wall switches or the handy ROMA radio control with light control function. The bidirectional touch display control Nina Timer io and the Chronis io radio timer enable automated operation. It gets even smarter with the TaHoma app, Loxone or Somfy Smart Home: control and program your sun shading conveniently via smartphone or tablet - even when you're on the move.

Motor-driven External Venetian Blinds are convenient, but immobile without a power supply! But nobody wants to be trapped in a darkened room in the event of a power failure. With the help of the battery backup for External Venetian Blinds, ten movement cycles are possible within 24 hours even without mains power and the battery is automatically recharged when the power returns.

Open in just a few seconds with the quick retraction function (even in the event of a power failure): With the battery-powered rapid retraction system, External Venetian Blinds (e.g. by operating the emergency switch) move upwards in a flash in dangerous situations.

Manual emergency operation for External Venetian Blinds: With Lift&go and Push&go, the end slats can be pushed up by hand in an emergency. This immediately creates a clear escape route - with little effort.

With solar solutions from ROMA, you can combine modern summer heat protection with solar drive. Thanks to the new generation of solar components with powerful batteries and solar modules, complex electrical installations are no longer necessary. ELERO solar package (.XP and .P systems) incl. solar module, battery, solar motor and 1-channel wall-mounted transmitter.
