ROMA RA.2: thermally insulating Top-Mounted Roller Shutters
ROMA RA.2 is a PVC-U Top-Mounted Roller Shutters with optional plaster base or aluminum outer panel. The system is ideal for window replacement. The double hollow chambers of the box ensure stability, good insulating properties and effective sound insulation. As the Top-Mounted Roller Shutters are installed directly with the window, a thermally insulating unit is created that reduces energy losses.
The internal inspection panel of the Roller Shutters with opening to the rear and bottom allows easy access for maintenance work. RA.2 from ROMA can be optionally equipped with a motor drive and radio or app control.

Matt fine texture highly weather-resistant for element colors
For the visible aluminum components of Roller Shutters, External Venetian Blinds and Textile Screens, you can choose from a wide range of colors in high-quality and durable surfaces. Design the element colors of your (visible) boxes, guide rails, drop or end bars entirely according to your wishes. The "matt fine structure, highly weather-resistant" surface is already standard at ROMA and combines a modern matt design with low sensitivity to dirt and scratches. A "matt smooth" surface is also available as an option.
Please always use original color samples for your color decision. Products may differ by nuances due to different painting processes. Your ROMA specialist partner will be happy to advise you.

Opening despite faulty power supply
Motorized Roller Shutters offer convenience, but they cannot be operated without electricity. With a battery backup, they remain operational even during a power outage—for up to ten operating cycles within 24 hours. As soon as mains power is restored, the battery recharges automatically. This ensures light and security at all times.
Alternatively, you can choose a motor with an emergency hand crank. This allows you to operate the Roller Shutters manually using the emergency hand crank in an emergency or during a power outage.
