ROMA external venetian blind slats

In order to make optimum use of daylight, the slat types differ in terms of the type of light control, the degree of shading and, of course, the design. What all slats have in common is that they are precisely manufactured by ROMA from weather-resistant aluminum.

Matt fine texture highly weather-resistant for element colors

For the visible aluminum components of Roller Shutters, External Venetian Blinds and Textile Screens, you can choose from a wide range of colors in high-quality and durable surfaces. Design the element colors of your (visible) boxes, guide rails, end bars, end strips or drop rods entirely according to your wishes. The "matt fine structure, highly weather-resistant" surface is already standard at ROMA and combines a modern matt design with low sensitivity to dirt and scratches. A "matt smooth" surface is also available as an option.

Please always use original color samples for your color decision. Products may differ by nuances due to different painting processes. Your ROMA specialist partner will be happy to advise you.

Additional equipment, functions and options

Additional equipment: daylight technology

When the blinds are lowered, the lower part of the daylight technology remains closed for privacy and sun protection, while the upper part lets in light and brightness through swivelled slats.

  • Different positions for the upper and lower sections Lowering takes place in the closed position

  • An OPEN command first turns the upper section (daylight section)

  • Lower section turns later (by shortening the ladder strip)

  • Individual division of the turning height possible on request

  • Daylight technology not possible with CDL and ZL

Additional equipment: working position

In the working position , the downward movement with open slats prevents the room from darkening and sets the slats to a sun protection position from the outset.

  • Lowering in the cut-off position (approx. 40°)

  • The blind is raised when the slats are in the typical slat position

  • An UP and subsequent DOWN command can close the slats completely

  • In the "working position" version, the minimum element width is increased by 50 mm due to an additional gear on the turning unit.

  • Not with Comfort & Design slat CDL

Opening despite faulty power supply

Motor-driven External Venetian Blinds are convenient, but immovable without a power supply! But nobody wants to be trapped in a darkened room in the event of a power failure. Open in just a few seconds with the quick retraction function (even in the event of a power failure): With the battery-powered rapid retraction system, External Venetian Blinds (e.g. by operating the emergency switch) move upwards in a flash in dangerous situations.
