UNO is ROMA’s complete system made of extruded aluminum. It is the first system to combine high-quality ROMA sun protection with a color-coordinated window sill. With just one box size, it allows for a consistent wall installation, as it does not require additional space regardless of the type of awning or accessories such as insect screens or fall-protection elements. Thanks to awning-independent box components and modular guide rails, it’s always possible—even when the structure is fully plastered—to switch from one awning type to another at a later date. This allows living spaces to be adapted to the specific needs of each life stage—flexibly, with future-proof design, and for long-term use.
The pre-assembled unit is delivered complete with the curtain, guide rails, housing, and window sill—including a drainage module. Thanks to the Hirschmann plug-in connection integrated into the rail—which is accessible at any time—the system is very easy to maintain. Planning is particularly straightforward thanks to a standardized box size of 200 × 170 mm. UNO can be integrated into all common wall constructions, whether monolithic plaster facades, external thermal insulation composite systems, wood-frame, or clinker brick construction.
