ROMA does without R+T 2022

ROMA will not be taking part in the upcoming R+T 2022 trade fair in Stuttgart. Due to the long preparation time for this trade fair, the leading sun shading manufacturer from Burgau is already announcing its cancellation after careful consideration. The limited opportunities for personal contact mean that no other decision can be made.

"After careful consideration, we have decided not to take part in the upcoming R+T. This decision was by no means easy for us, because trade fairs in general and R+T in particular are part of ROMA's history," emphasizes Friedemann Auer, member of the management board and project manager for trade fairs at ROMA.

For ROMA, personal contact has always been a priority at trade fairs. Detailed discussions and open exchanges, away from the hectic day-to-day business, are unfortunately not possible to the usual extent with the expected hygiene rules. Of course, the safety and health of everyone involved is paramount and the applicable hygiene rules are crucial. The convivial hospitality or joint celebrations that are particularly valued at ROMA are therefore unlikely to be possible.

As the preparations for a trade fair like R+T take a long time and the development of the pandemic cannot be predicted until spring, ROMA is already announcing the official cancellation of its appearance at R+T 2022. "Instead, we are concentrating our efforts on the day-to-day concerns of our customers, such as ensuring the best possible supply despite current procurement issues. Our customers will notice that not attending the trade fair also creates space for needs-based support," explains Sales Director Heiner Basener.

At the next trade fair in Stuttgart, the company hopes to be back on site with a stand as usual to continue the success story of "trade fairs and ROMA".
