Tailor-made sun shading for mullion-transom façades with the ROMA External Venetian Blinds F50

With the new External Venetian Blinds F50, ROMA presents a sun shading solution that has been specially developed to meet the requirements of modern mullion and transom façades. The innovative system is based on the successful zipSCREEN F50 and combines discreet architecture with technical precision. The narrow guide rails, which are only 50 mm wide, allow the External Venetian Blinds to be integrated flush into the façade - for a calm appearance without visible fixing elements.

A newly designed robust steel spigot connects the blind and track to form a self-supporting system. Additional fixing to the mullion-transom façade is therefore no longer necessary. This saves material, reduces installation work and opens up new design possibilities for continuous row systems. The sophisticated design of the ROMA F50 system therefore enables particularly simple and efficient installation on the mullion-transom façade, even for large-scale façade projects.

The ROMA F50 system, already known from Textile Screens, has been further developed and can now also be combined with External Venetian Blinds - for maximum design freedom on the mullion/transom façade. Installing a mullion and transom façade requires a high degree of precision and technical expertise. First, the load-bearing mullions are attached vertically. The horizontal transoms then follow, creating a stable frame system. Glass surfaces or façade elements can be inserted precisely into this grid.
