ROMA Top-Mounted Textile Screens: effective, transparent sun protection
ROMA Top-Mounted Textile Screens are the latest generation of textile sun shading solutions. Placed directly in front of the window, they provide pleasant shade at the touch of a button and at the same time allow a transparent view to the outside.
They are installed directly on the window and together with it in the building opening. In this way, the window and ROMA Top-Mounted Textile Screens merge into a single unit that blends discreetly into the façade - almost invisible, but technically highly effective.
Like all ROMA Textile Screens, the top-mounted variants also offer maximum design freedom. Whether transparent, translucent or darkening - with different Textile Screens fabric types and a wide range of colors, you can design your sun protection as you wish.

The ROMA Top-Mounted Textile Screens at a glance
Whether for the living room, study or bedroom - the ROMA systems are specially designed for surface mounting. All variants rely on zip technology, which fixes the Fabrics securely in the side guide rails. This ensures that your sun protection stays reliably in shape even in stormy weather.
Transparent sun protection with an effect
A ROMA top-mounted textile screen provides reliable protection against direct sunlight even before it reaches the glass, thereby contributing significantly to heat protection during the summer. It reduces heat absorption, lowers cooling requirements, and creates a noticeably more comfortable indoor climate—all without the use of energy-intensive air conditioning units.
At the same time, the high-quality fabrics provide effective glare protection at the workplace without darkening the room. This is a major advantage, especially for home offices , as it allows for glare-free computer work in natural daylight. The special feature: Despite these protective functions, the view to the outside remains unobstructed. In this way, ROMA Top-Mounted Textile Screens combine functionality, living comfort, and summer heat protection in a single system.
ROMA Top-Mounted Textile Screens: Design and fabric variety
Choose from numerous fabric types for your Textile Screens - transparent, translucent or darkening - as well as from a wide range of colors. With the ROMA color collection, windows, façades and sun protection can be perfectly coordinated.
