Attachment system RA zipSCREEN
Textile sun shading is still very much in vogue. For this reason, ROMA is consistently continuing its development in this area: with the RA zipSCREEN, the company is presenting a top-mounted system with textile sun protection. And for carefree summer evenings, the tried-and-tested ROMA zipSCREEN.2 can soon be fitted with a special insect screen fabric.
Using components from the tried-and-tested RA.2 add-on system, textile sun shading will also be available from ROMA as an add-on system from July 2018. Two box sizes with a height of just 150 mm and different depths can be combined with two different guide rails - a classic split and a concealable version.
In conjunction with the concealable U-shaped guide rail, an external bracket can be positioned so deep that the drop rod disappears completely and integrates perfectly into the overall architectural design. An optional sound insulation version is also available, in which the drop rod closes off the box in the upper end position and, in conjunction with an additional sound insulation film, ensures optimum sound insulation values.
The motors of the RA zipSCREEN are equipped with a curtain protection function (except for battery back-up). In the event of a motor change, the supply cable in the box is provided with a disconnection point. The motor bearing with safety lever also allows the blind to be lowered manually.
Of course, the RA zipSCREEN can be fitted with all fabrics (except window fabrics and insect screens) from the ROMA collection and thus offers sun and glare protection for every need.

Enjoy the beautiful days and balmy evenings of summer undisturbed under the patio roof or with the doors wide open: the zipSCREEN.2 with insect screen fabric makes it possible.
Based on the well-known and tried-and-tested ROMA zipSCREEN.2, the specially designed insect screen offers effective protection against flying insects. The drop rod is fitted with a wide brush and a specially shaped sealing piece, which closes the gap between the brush and the guide rail and thus also protects against flying insects at the lower end of the system.
The ROMA zipSCREEN.2 with insect screen fabric is available in all sizes from 90 to 150 box. With a maximum width of 4,000 mm, heights of up to 3,500 mm are possible.
