The Comfort & Design slat ROMA CDL
Sun shading and light control in perfection and, at the same time, a whole new level of privacy and privacy protection: this is the Comfort & Design slat from ROMA, CDL for short. This world first for External Venetian Blinds is enjoying ever-growing popularity and can also be used in future as sun protection on all-glass corners. ROMA is also presenting the first system of a new generation of Front-Mounted External Venetian Blinds: the QUADRO 170 Front-Mounted External Venetian Blinds, also with CDL.
The Red Dot award-winning Comfort & Design slat CDL sets itself apart from all conventional systems in terms of design and function. The flat, linear slat shape blends particularly harmoniously into modern buildings of any design - and also enables a new level of living comfort. When closed, concealed punched holes, the high slat overlap and the specially designed guide rails even protect against direct light coming in from the side. At the same time, residents benefit from greater privacy thanks to the high level of opacity.
Another major advantage of ROMA External Venetian Blinds with CDL is the significantly increased wind stability. This results from the stable guidance of the slat bolts and the special carriage in the rails. While conventional External Venetian Blinds have to be raised early in windy conditions, ROMA CDL still protects against sun, heat and annoying glances.
Solution for all-glass corners with ROMA CDL
Contemporary architecture relies on a clear design language and lines, but also tries to break these up time and again - for example in structurally relevant areas in the form of large areas of glazing or all-glass corners. From June 2018, ROMA will also be offering a solution for this building situation for the CDL, without any disruptive guide rails. Instead, cables at the corner ensure a delicate and attractive appearance. CDL External Venetian Blinds for all-glass corners impress with optimized light control and needs-based privacy and sun protection day and night.
ROMA CDL in the Front-Mounted External Venetian Blinds QUADRO 170
With the box size 170, ROMA is launching the first version of the completely newly developed QUADRO front-mounted Venetian blind system. Thanks to the new box design, the ROMA CDL will soon also be able to be used in the front wall. Among other things, the deflection of the elevator tapes has been redesigned for this purpose. The new SmartTurn belt spool is also used. Thanks to revised cover caps, the top of the box is fastened from the inside using invisible screws. Significantly longer guide tabs on the cover and front section make it easier to handle the box parts for all types of inspection.
