The most innovative reel on the market: ROMA SmartTurn
In future, all ROMA External Venetian Blinds will use the completely new, specially developed ROMA SmartTurn tape reel. In future, the blind will no longer need to be dismantled for simple adjustment work such as diagonal pull or to replace the worn elevator tape. All work can be carried out conveniently from the underside of the head rail when the blind is lowered.
This revolution in the External Venetian Blinds sector has now also been awarded the R+T Innovation Prize 2018. It highlights exemplary innovations in the industry to the professional world.
The superior technology of the SmartTurn tape reel is particularly evident when changing the pull tape. The unique click mount of the elevator tape cassette enables tool-free replacement from below. This makes it quick and easy to replace the elevator tape in just a few simple steps and without having to remove the external venetian blind curtain.
In addition, any diagonal pull can be quickly eliminated using the easily accessible adjustment wheels on the underside of the head rail (top rail). By the way: SmartTurn has been installed in the Comfort & Design CDL slat since its market launch in 2017.
