ROMA wins the FLG Oscar again
The FLG Fensterleistungsgemeinschaft from Alfter has been awarding the "Oscar" to the best supplier of the past year for 19 years. This is the second time that ROMA KG has won the coveted award for 2019. Due to the pandemic, the award could only be presented now on a small scale.
Every year, the best supplier is honored with the so-called "Oscar", in which the FLG shareholders evaluate the products and related services in 15 categories. Winning the award with the highest number of points is a great honor in the window industry. Suppliers are also shown potential for improvement.
The overall winner for 2019 is the sun shading manufacturer ROMA KG. Back in 2007, the company from Burgau was already in the top group in all areas of the assessment for criteria such as product quality, service, delivery reliability, order processing and complaints handling. The high level has not only been maintained over all the years of cooperation, but has even been improved.
Thomas Hildenbrandt, Managing Director of FLG, emphasizes that it is particularly worth mentioning in view of the fact that each order is individual and cannot be compared with any other in terms of the diversity of variations. The services provided in terms of delivery reliability, product range, flexibility and innovation cannot be valued highly enough.
The award ceremony was originally scheduled to take place in May 2020 at the ROMA Forum in Burgau as part of the FLG shareholders' meeting. This event was ultimately canceled due to coronavirus. It was only now that the award could finally be presented at a gala dinner the day before the FLG shareholders' meeting. Even though the award was presented later than usual, ROMA would like to express its heartfelt thanks to all FLG members for the 2019 Supplier of the Year award and for the trusting cooperation.
The FLG Fensterleistungsgemeinschaft GmbH, founded in 1999 and based in Alfter, currently comprises 21 medium-sized and owner-managed window, door and façade manufacturers and ROMA specialist partners from all over Germany.
